Manage your machine maintenance in a web environment

Maintenance Management is a software solution built on 3-layer architecture. It is accessed by users through the familiar environment of an internet browser.

Architecture of Maintenance Management

Similarly to the eRegis application, this maintenance management module is built on the J2EE (Java 2, Enterprise Edition) platform, and consists technologically of three layers:

  • 1st layer – application server on which the application itself is installed (we install it using the Apache Tomcat free software),
  • 2nd layer – database server on which your data are centrally administered (we install it using the IBM – DB2 Express C or MS SQL Server free software),
  • 3rd layer – client computer which is used to display the application (e.g. desktop or notebook PC, smart phone, tablet or thin client).

Where will the application be installed?

There are two possibilities for the actual location of the Maintenance Management installation. Both of them have their advantages and disadvantages.
